SXT CATAYLST AND RETARDANT 

SXT Catalyst SX0515 is a proprietary curing catalyst for use with the Rutland SILEXTREME system and added just prior to use. Add SXT Catalyst at 3-5% on total ink weight just prior to application and make sure that the catalyst is mixed thoroughly. Once added use the ink within 72 hours. Only catalyze enough amount for up to 1-2 days of print production as addition of the catalyst creates a pot life

SXT Retardant SX0516 is suggested to be added during hot weather conditions in the shop floor. The usage rate can be from 1% to a maximum of 3% retarder – this will slow down the cure and provide more open time. Note that the retarder is to be added separately to the premixed base and catalyst.
